i couldnt find this while searching these forums but if its already been covered please point me in the right direction.
when i recieve email from android forums it sends me a link to the forum that a new message was posted to. thats great an i like it doing that.. my problem is sometimes the link is "too long" and gmail cuts it off before sending it to my phone so i cant tap it.
the email shows up correctly on my computer at gmail.com so i know it must be a setting in my phone or in gmails interface of what it sends to my phone.

please help me get gmail to send my messages exactly as they apear on my computer!

here is an example of what i mean. the link for this post will show up on my phone similar to this:
http://androidforums.com/android-applications/80273-gmail-cu...

but on my computer it will show up like this:
http://androidforums.com/android-applications/80273-gmail-cuts-my-messages-short.html#post756203

my phone doesnt even recognize the first one as a link.

What you need to do to be able to click on the link is this:

You need to click on the first message. That one will be a "clickable" link.
You do this by clicking where is says __ read massages. Then click on the first one.

Not completely sure the reason for this... but it will work

i dont think i should have to goto the original message in order to use a link. i dont have to do that on my computer and i dont see any reson for my phone to have to do it.

anyone else know???
is this something that google is doing or the android platform?

Agree that you shouldn't have to do this.
That's just the only way I know how.

I also would like to know if there is a fix so we can use those links
