I can load any webpage in Chrome, Firefox, Opera etc. except Reddit. The Reddit apps (official Reddit app, joey, Reddit is fun) don't load as well. Chrome reports 'DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN' and opera also reports DNS problems (Firefox simply says it can't load the webpage).

I downloaded the 'dns changer app' and changed my DNS to Google dns, but Reddit only worked for a minute (only in browsers, not in the Reddit apps). Now it's not working (in anything) again. I have also cleared chrome's history and reinstalled Chrome. Reddit still doesn't work.

P.S. I am using a 3g network, not a broadband connection.

I have the same questions as @mikedt. I use Chrome all the time for Reddit, without issue. No tinkering required. And although I don't like and don't use the Reddit app, I just fired it up and it's fine as well.

Could be Reddit is been censored and blocked by your carrier/ISP? What country are you in and who's your carrier. Have you tried using a VPN?
I live in Bangladesh and my Carrier is Grameenphone. I don't think they'd block Reddit, I asked a friend to check on his broadband connection and on his mobile data (different carrier though) and he said that it worked.

As for the VPN, I already said I downloaded the 'dns changer ' app and my phone's os identifies that as a VPN. Anyway, can you recommend any good free VPN's (if there are any)?

Yes I can recommend a good free VPN.

Works in China as well.

Don't know anything about Bangladesh, but is it subject to govt censoring of the Internet, like China is?

Hey, thanks for the VPN, Reddit is working now! However, I still can't use Reddit on another phone that is connected to this phone's hotspot. Oh well.

By the way, I don't think the government here censors anything. Once they turned off all networks (excluding broadband) during the elections, but that was it.
