No box to check to download from unknown sources

I cannot find a box for download from unknown sources on a the Rca atlas 10 tablet, there is no box to check in security section.

There is no box to check under any tab.

is it greyed out? or just that option is not there?
can you list what you see in the security setting?

What android version is it running?

In the most recent version that box doesn't exist any more. Instead you can grant a particular app the permission to install unknown apps (in Settings > Apps > Advanced > Special App Access > Install Unknown Apps) rather than a global setting which allows any app able to launch the app installer to do this.
