Video player in chrome doesn't work on certain site

1. Hi everyone. I have a problem with build-in video player in Chrome.
2. For such sites, as m.youtube.com it's work correctly and looks like this:

5. It worked for site yummyanime.club as too.
6. But some days ago video player suddenly stopped working on this site in Chrome and other browsers. Instead, the video is played in the same player as on the computer (although I use a mobile version of the site). It looks like this:

8. Player stopped working only on this site.

10. It is inconvenient player on my phone. I want to use a player like in the first screenshot. I was surprised when I opened this site on my other old phone, and there this mobile player works:

13. In short, the problem is this: the mobile video player suddenly stopped working on a certain site on my new phone. This is a problem for all browsers. But on my old phone, everything works fine.

are you sure your chrome broswer is set to desktop? make sure that it is and you should have the player work accordingly.

from what i understand from the op, the video needs to play in the desktop player and not the mobile player, if that makes any sense. so you need to go into the chrome settings the three dots and check mark the the desktop option.

Problem is the opposite. Video need to play in mobile player, but instead it played in desktop player(although I use a mobile version of the site). It's problem on my new phone. And I don't now how to fix this problem.

I don't know the answer, but wanted to reiterate some things the OP has said:

So Chrome isn't the problem, and concentrating only on its settings won't solve it.

I haven't touched apple products since that pretty color PC. I think it was an iMAC?
Pretty hard to carry, even with a backpack.
