I heard there were fires up your way, Moody... how bad is it?
Where I am, Arcadia, knock on wood, we've been unaffected so far. But the LA region has been hit hard. Just today a fire broke out in Topanga Canyon. Honestly, it just seems like a never-ending chain of fires.

As if the fires weren't bad enough, Trump adds insult to injury by withholding [or threatening to] federal funds to fight them. He's so pathetically misinformed, it's not even funny. He thinks these are 'forest fires,' and has previously declared that if we managed our forests better [by keeping them raked], this wouldn't happen. The truth is, these are wildfires, in urban/suburban areas, nowhere near forests--and, even if they were, the federal government manages 90-something percent of California's forests! So he should look in the mirror to see who's mishandling CA's forests. :rolleyes:
