Help Can't get bubbles to work in Whatsapp

I have a problem getting bubbles with WhatsApp to work. I have bubbles enabled and in WhatsApp's notification settings I have it set to 'all conversations can bubble' but the icon to 'bubble' it won't appear in the bottom right of the notification. I tried reinstalling it and restarting my phone but it simply refuses to work. With telegram it works just fine as with other apps that support it but not WhatsApp. What could be the issue?

I use WhatsApp regularly, and I've not seen anything about "bubbles". I don't use Telegram, so can't comment about that.

It's a new feature in Android 11. It's based on FB messenger's chat heads.

I do have an Android 11 device myself, A Samsung Note20 Ultra I bought last month. Anyway I just found Bubbles in the advanced notifications settings. It was OFF, so I turned it ON, and will wait and see what happens. I don't use FB Messenger either, and I receive most messages via WeChat, which I don't know if it does this Bubbles thing or not.
