Question Which company new 5g smart phone have adoptable storage

I am planning to purchase new smart phone mobile for video editing graphic editing game apps. I want to install aprrox 200-400 apps as file in video editing are huge so I want to use app from exernal as card and save output and files.on high seed v30 u30 micro sd external card

As new mobile with waareanty id sont want to root and use link2sd or app2sd apps.

In android 5.1.1 there was option to move partly files to sd card by android llolipop native opetion settings>apps>app info "Move to sd card"

In android 6.0 marshemellow the option of adoptable storage to which formats the external micro sd card as internal memory


In android 7.1 there is option in settings developer option "Force app to SD"

But as samsung galaxy have removed all adoptable storage option form its galaxy smart phone


Can any one suggest me which brand with android 11.0 or android 10.0 or android 12.0 can support adoptable storage without rooting and lapsing warranty.

why do you want adoptable storage on a phone? there was a reason why some manufacturers have done away with it......so even finding a new phone that still offers it might be hard.

just get a decent phone that has a good amount of storage space.

i have not had a reason for this option since the days of my HTC EVO 4G!!!!!!!!!!

for one you will need a good, fast card to do this.
second, you have to be aware that at some point down the road, the card will wear out and get corrupted and you will loose everything on your phone.
thirdly you will have to backup everything in the case of a card failure.

its too much of a headache and is only a temporary work around for a device that does not have enough storage space.

just get a phone that has enough space and you will not need to have this option.

@ocnbrze bro firstly thanx for replying and sharing your precious time and knowledge...bro I need to install 200-400 apps tools for graphics logo cartoon video editing designing animating graphics logo designing and archetectural designing apps and plus other sound editing camera editing apps social digital marketing seo not for entertainment but for profesional works....as on move mobility ita easy to produce edit and work while travelling

Now reason to install on external micro sd.card is that firstly it output huge files as a short 4k video is if 500 mb -1000 mb or.more and while editing we have to save 10-20 samples which will fill 20gb-30gb withing 30 min on single project so it better to save on micro sd card.... Secondly 200-400 apps will be install for effects or not daily use for seldom use once in a month or weak...on certain effects and randomly used be saved on internal memory.

@ocnbrze bro yes I have to purchase heavy fastcard for video editing 4k 8k files I have recently purchased SanDisk extreme. V30 A2128 gb 160mbps/90mbps with 10 years warranty comparing benchmark.speed of which old mobile till working perfectly on apps moved on it ... Firstly pro micro sd cards it has 10 years warranty and till 10 years don't know where technology will increase and hopefully new mobile will come ..

Secondly for wear and tear I will take twrp backup or adb pull image nandroid internal ad cars backup or files backups on external hdd usb or cloud storage to recover it back through nandroid backup within few hours.

@ocnbrze bro actually now all works is being done through mobile and all goverment private companies developed apps for Android so its neceeity as all meetings video confrence apps works pressure is fast and mobile on mobiles ...secondly new mobiles with budgeted coming with 64gb/128gb internal memory and expandable to 512mb or 1tb and expensive models have more space of 256gb internal memory...it's better to get 64gb or 128 gb mobile with high 256gb external sd card for storage. Then purchasing an expensive mobile.

So kindly help suggest me if. It's in ur knowledge which mobile have adoptable storage.. ..

Sounds like you want to do a rather heavyweight work-flow there. Quite frankly I wouldn't want to attempt this sort of multi-media production on a phone, and would use an appropriately specced laptop instead, using something like Adobe Premier, Sony Vegas, or Apple Final Cut(Mac only) for the video work.Also 200-400 apps? What apps will you actually be using for example?

They mention HTC. But HTC has been out of the smart-phone business for a while now. As for anything else, like Samsung, LG, Sony, Huawei, Honor, Xiaomi, Oppo, etc. I'm pretty sure non of them support adopdable storage, well not without rooting, and other modifications.
