never mind i am on some pain meds and wasn't thinking straighthuh? Seidio is a company making Hard Rubberized Cases
LOL....never mind i am on some pain meds and wasn't thinking straight
LOL....
btw, I added some more thoughts of the Evo to my initial review.
Camera/Camcorder:where i am not finding it
huh? Seidio is a company making Hard Rubberized Cases
So after factoring in all the information above, I browse the web, talk, text message, and bunch of other stuff. I can last probably 24 hrs on moderate use. If I decide to use it heavily, I've been able to discharge the whole phone in 5 hrs.
Great thread!
Two questions for when your Seidio arrives:
1. Can you slide the EVO into your pocket with the Seidio case (or is it sticky like rubber)?
2. If price is not an issue, would you still get this case? Thanks!
these pictures reminded me of a question I have...so, on the Palm Pre there are no "grooves" where the screen meets the side of the phone and after looking at these pictures it kind of looks like the Evo has the same seamless design whereas my Hero had grooves all over the place and was a huge dust collector. is the Evo seamless where the screen meets the side of the phone?
also, thanks for yours and htcevolution's reviews the last week, you guys have really put a lot of effort into this forum.
There is a little gap between the bezel and the glass. it could possibly trap a little bit of dust. So far, i haven't had the problem.these pictures reminded me of a question I have...so, on the Palm Pre there are no "grooves" where the screen meets the side of the phone and after looking at these pictures it kind of looks like the Evo has the same seamless design whereas my Hero had grooves all over the place and was a huge dust collector. is the Evo seamless where the screen meets the side of the phone?

Their cases are rubberized, but I don't think it will be a major problem when your trying to slide it in your pocket. I will comment on these two questions when I get the case.Great thread!

Doing the battery test tonight and give you answers tomorrow! ATK (Advance task killer) does help though. So you're saying that from a full charge, you then had 5 hours of non-stop usage and then the phone was dead? If so, that's pretty good assuming idle battery usage is very minimal. I'm coming from the iPhone world and I get about 5 hours of usage on my phone per charge, but thats with about 10 hours of standby. Could you tell us what kind of battery life you get on pure standby? Maybe record what battery % you are at before you go to bed and then check when you wake up?
Thanks for the excellent review.
glad you did. please check back for reviews. also i need a Steinheil too!I've already preordered that SEIDO case too, the back looks like it could possibly be thick enough to offset the cam sticking out like a sore thumb in the back. I'm really hoping it does that, but if not hey it's still protection for the phone. I need a Steinheil SP ASAP though.
could you download "linpack" from the market and tell us what you benchmark at.
Here it is at appbrain:

does the Evo have a auto speakerphone function to where if you put the phone on its face it will automatically put it on speakerphone?
Not that I have found. My TP2 has it but I rarely use it. Normally just pressed Speaker button.
you know you love me!That's a great review!!! I too have grown to be a big fan of HTC....not you but the company lol.
No problem. I thought I write about it since it's such a useful program.Oh and thanks for mentioning the Appbrain. You cleared alot of things up.
haven't seen it.does the Evo have a auto speakerphone function to where if you put the phone on its face it will automatically put it on speakerphone?
Thanks, I will give this a try. Not that I would need it, but doesn't hurt to use it.
