you cant, i believe i read an article almost a year ago that when saying curse words --they updated it so they dont get sued or what not in case someone says DUCK it doesnt say **** thus they censor it no matter if its intentional or not
As far as I can tell this affects all andoid phones with voice to text.
Google via CNET said:
We filter potentially offensive or inappropriate results because we want to avoid situations whereby we might misrecognize a spoken query and return profanity when, in fact, the user said something completely innocent
no, the translation goes through google's servers so uncensoring would have to go through google. theres no way to fix it because google themselves has to enter all your curse words.
Well that stinks. Now I'm thinking it would be nice to have an app creatively add swear words. Sometimes I just don't feel like coming up with a stream of words on my own, but feel the message deserves them.
for the few minutes that i had cm7 on my phone i was poking around the settings and there was an option in the voice input section that allowed you to control the filtering (strict moderate or none). I think it is a 2.3 thing and not a CM thing because it was not in the CM settings section. so you may not have to worry about this for much longer...
