Best sounding cars/bikes

@ Colnago:

I am a huge fan of VW/Audi hot rods. I had two different vr6 powered cars, multiple older GTI beaters, and currently have a 2001 Jetta 1.8T with an APR custom flashed chip. Everything else on my car is stock, so it is not great sounding, but I can get my traction control to kick in at 75 mph on dry pavement without turning too sharply. It is absolutely hilarious to roll by fast cars and they can't catch me!!!!! All while getting close to 30mpg. I love my dub!

Lmao. It's truly an engineering masterpiece. It may not be fast enough to justify the price but the engineering is. The level of detail on every single inch of the car is amazing. Toyota built custom machines just to make the car. They have a carbon fiber machine that they built that is one of only a few in the world. The engine revs so quickly they had to put in a digital tachometer so it could keep up with the engine revs. Hell they even sent the car to Yamaha's music department to tune the exhaust lol.

no way in hell im paying 300k+ for a lexus!
It would actually be a better investment in the long than a Murcielago probably. I forgot the number but the LFA will have very limited production (probably because they can't find enough people to spend $300+ on a 'Yota). I'll still take a 599 GTB over it, investment be damned lol.

Toyota needs to bring back the Supra.

Lexus is sculpting ONLY 500 of these worldwide (20 a month). I think for them it's more of an experiment. The thing with me is that luxury > performance. The Lexus LFA supercar is the most luxurious and beautiful supercar that I know of. I've seen interiors of the Ferrari and Lamborghini cars and they look so bare. At least the Audi R8 has a beautiful interior also.

I forgot that Yamaha fine-tuned the sound of the LFA. I wonder how many other companies can actually say that.

I'm sure that the Lexus LFA will be an icon for future Japanese engineering. If I had to buy any car, that would be it. I believe that in the long run, the Lexus LFA will have a lasting impact vs. what Ferrari and Lamborghini are churning out at the current moment simply because of the LFA being the 1st of its kind. I know that the Lexus LFA has been in the making for a long ass time. The very first concept model came out in 2005, so Lexus has been seriously thinking about this car for at least 6-7 years. They had to basically start from scratch too. It's very impressive that Lexus could produce such an exquisite supercar like this on their very first attempt.

If I had the money to just spend, then the Lexus LFA would be the car to get. I don't think that Lexus would really have a hard time at all trying to sell 20 of these per month worldwide. Any supercar enthusiast, with a ton of money, would be crazy to give up on this opportunity. This car is literally writing itself in the history books.

:D

As you have noticed from my prior posts, I am particular to the VW/Audi mark. This is one of the coolest old school audis I have ever seen. Thank you very much for posting this vid, it gave me goosebumps watching it. I have had a few old Audi 4000's in my time as well, and beat the ever loving pi$$ out of them for months on end.

Again, thank you for the great post.

Word...on top of the G60, which I need to get rebuilt after putting in my "2nd" motor  (should have gone with the VR swap), I also have a 20th.

...Add in the sound of a twin screw supercharger...

Meh, I have to repair/replace my supercharger, and was considering a Lysholm (screw), but I dread the thought of my car sounding like a "fire engine siren"...there are scilencer kits for it however, but whatever floats your boat.

I never like'd M-B, but I'd rock a "CLK black" anyday (minus about 800lbs):

...and as always, the F430:

But the F458 is no slouch either:
