Hi all, I was wondering how my sd card should be setup so i can use all of my ringtones and sounds and whatnot. I know this has been posted before but that thread did not answer all of my questions. What folders do i need to create for the DInc to recognize all of my data? Do i need a music, ringtones, sounds, alarms folder. If so can the files in these folders only be used for that specific thing?

Just trying to get this thing all setup so when i plug it in it works.

Thanks

Someone please correct me if I am wrong but all media should be recognized by the default (or any media player) immediately. You should be able to set the sounds up regardless of the separate files. Another helpful help for organizing on the phone is astro. Also the default media player allows clipping of mp3's, so any desired desired sounds can be used.

Create a folder on your sd card and name it media. In the media folder create a folder named audio. In the audio folder create 3 folders, alarms, notifications, & ringtones. Just drop the mp3's in each folder. You may need to restart the phone to see them.
