Help Incredible gets very hot!

Does anyone else's incredible get very hot? The screen gets very hot to the touch when using it for more than about 10 minutes, The back case gets very hot too. It stays this way for quite some time also. I ended up pulling the battery and case off last night for about 30 minutes to let it cool down. Should I be worried about this?

Probably not, to be honest. If you're using wifi, GPS, and charging all at once, or doing something which has the processor at its full 1Ghz, the phone could probably get up to 60*C or so without doing any harm. This may feel warm, but not HOT. I think if you add the battery widget, and then tap it, it shows the battery temp.

Don't worry though, if the battery gets too hot, it stop charging. If it's still hot, the phone will turn off.

Just dont remove battery by hand to try to cool it down 60

Yes, the Incredible is indeed a hot phone, in fact they've been.... oh wait, you mean TEMPERATURE hot? :p

I've noticed mine gets somewhat warm with a bit of use, but not ridiculously hot and there's been times when I've been using it for more than 10 minutes at a time with WiFi, playing videos while charging and sending txts back and forth at the same time. I think my old Omnia used to get hotter than this does with the same amount of usage. Of course, I couldn't get things done as fast on the Omnia.

There was actually a thread a while back with people posting their phone temperatures (try searching, I forget what the name of the thread was), but yes, from that thread, and from my own personal experience, the phone does get hot more often than not. My phone was over 110F when I was using the GPS for an extended period of time
