Accessories who has the seidio 1750 mah battery?

Yeah it definitely gave me more battery life than the stock battery. Gets me through a day and a half with moderate usage.

ok nice, did the build quality of the battery seem weird to you? the back of mine indents in a little bit making it seem extra thin. u think they would use all the space they can to give that extra juice.

Whoops, maybe I shouldn't have ordered one either.

Seidio has been around for a while, on many other platforms. I'm not saying that they don't make a dud every once in a while, but the instructions say that you need to go thru a few charging cycles before you see normal operation.

FWIW, my 2100mAh Seidio for my Motorola Q gets me thru 2-3 days of my normal use. Its now my backup phone, and its been sitting idle on my nightstand, polling (3) email accounts every 2-3 hours on AT&T's 3G (no calls and only played w/settings and browser for about an hour, and slingbox for about 1/2 an hour this week). I pulled it off the charger Monday morning, and I still have about 15-20% battery left, as of Friday afternoon.

If the 1750mAh Seidio is about 15% more mAh than the OEM, then expect about a 15% gain in usage time, given similar usage patterns...YMMV. However if you were going dead after say 18hrs, that extra 15%, if used for idle time, it may get you over that 24hr hump.

I've had my battery for a few days and gone through 3 charging cycles. Within 10 minutes of unplugging it the battery drops 5% and I hadn't even turned on the screen yet. It's been unplugged for 3 hours now. I had one short call and a few mails and texts. No Internet or music or video. The battery is at 77%. Is that normal? My stock battery is horrible. It dies after 5 hours.

how many more hours are you getting would you say? 1750 vs 1500 makes me want to wait for one with more mA

Im not sure exactly how many more hours but lets put it this way. I took my phone off about 830 this morning but I really havent used it much and at 5 this evening I was still at 90%. The stock battery was at 60-50% for the same thing.

the seidio build quality of my battery sucks. it doesnt fit well in my evo either, its thinner than the stock battery and its harder to put in. i think im going to return it and get either another one, an oem one, or does anyone have any other good brands they can recommend?

It drains battery like mad, draining 10% in less than an hour doing nothing. OEM was much better, lasted 24 hours with light usage, but with the seidio one it lasted like 8 hours or less. Even after many cycles.

I cant send mine back, it passed 14 days, so i have to exchange... i accidently ordered the HTC TOUCH PRO 2 one and got it a week before the evo came out, but it fits and works on the EVO.

Already sent RMA form, hopefully all goes well with a new battery.
