Just saw this today. Shapewriter being pulled from Market; get it while you still can | Android Central

It doesn't actually do that. The Android OS just warns you that, potentially, any replacement keyboard could. That warning pops up when enabling any keboard. Swype, Better Keyboard, Smart Keyboard Pro, Shapewriter. Anything.

That said, I love Shapewriter and wish they would explain WHY it's being pulled from the market. I keep trying Swype, thinking I'm missing something obvious since everybody loves it. But I just keep going back to Shapewriter.

I attempted to install swype beta and it said it could have access to passwords and other private info.

Did anyone else see this?

All keyboards say that. I think it's because they save custom inputs to the dictionary.
