    Root [MetroPCS & T-Mobile] Howto: disable Media Scanning on bootup

    Haven't found anything about this so I figured I'd give a quick howto. After root of course, download "Disable Service", open it and toggle to System Apps, navigate to "Media Storage" and uncheck "MediaScannerService" and all done !

    How about this...can someone confirm that my update is for Jelly Bean 4.3 ?

    I just need to know if the newest update from 4.1.2 is Jelly Bean or not ? If it is, I'm not going to update because it will kill my pdanet/foxfi usb tether through Tmobile. Can someone just confirm that this phone has got 4.3 in its newest update ?

    can someone confirm new software update will not break pdanet/foxfi tether ?

    I just got this phone from Walmart and it keeps asking me to update from 4.1.2 and I just wanna know if this is going to break my usb tether from pdanet/foxfi using "hide my tether usage" to get around tmobiles really ridiculous .5g limit ? It did when I updated from 4.1.2 to 4.3 in my HTC One...

    Phone turns itself off after inactivity

    I just noticed my phone is turning itself off after an hour or two of inactivity. Is this normal ? How do I stop that from happening ?

    Root How to root without having to back up apps and having to reset phone ?

    I just want to root my phone. I don't want to have to back up any apps, flash a new rom, factory reset my phone. Is this possible ?

    Help My add button is blank

    For some reason my "add" button when I click on the far left button from home screen and try to click on "add" it's blank and can't be typed. Any ideas why this is now ? I did try to install hotspot widget and when it became clear that the icon wasn't showing up 'cause I think they disabled it...
