I was recently looking through my Android devices from my PC, and an extra unkown phone had appeared as signed in. I used the PC Google page to sign out on the odd device but it still appears as signed out of course.
I want to keep an eye on it to see if it gets signed back in, and then change...
I've looked it up and it seems that 'Smartview' now supposedly only works with Samsung TV's.
I'm trying to screenshare with a Chromecast connected to my non Sony TV.
I can do it with Google home of course, but there are so many steps to it.
I open Google Home, I select the chromecast, then...
I feel silly but I bought one of these yesterday and I can't work out how to make the camera flash work. Does it have one? - I haven't had a device with that lens setup before, is the flash in the ring around the lense?
It's from a few years ago and is utterly superb in it's simplicity and ease of use. It's not around anymore and I'm trying to find something to replace it on my later devices.
Every timer I find seems to be a pain in the *ss to use, too many steps to get to the actual point of a kitchen type...
This is driving me around the bend! It just won't go away no matter what I do.
On both my Samsung phone and tablet, Google Assistant is switched OFF, yet they both are still responding to both 'hey google' and 'ok google'.
What gives?
I want to keep things as simple as possible for my parents so I want to gradually transition them from PC, which is getting beyond them, to Android as their main internet interface.
Screen size has to be user friendly however, what is the currently largest tablet/android device available?
I can't find a way to stop my device whining at me every time I want to raise my bluetooth volume over a certain level. Is there a way to disable this annoying feature? Same goes for brightness.
