My creaking comes from the back door for some reason it won't snap on completely where the camera button is oh well not really a big deal I'm sure I just can't put the damn thing on right I never was good at cell phone back doors other than that no other creaking love my mts3g but still looking forward to the vibrant...

the only thing that bugs me is this, htc considers the evo problems as a minor flaw, now if you think about it does it suprise anyone to think that there going to use glossy plastic/cheaper materials? There a company and a company wants to make as much as a profit as they can and if we buy it we are to blame. I think if people showed companies that hey were only going to buy well made anything that they would only sell well made products.

I have owned a iphone 3g and a 3gs, a htc g1, mt3g .. and so on they all had there little flaws. I have a mt slide and i agree its not the best feeling phone but its not the worst either. and will i own the samung galaxy s ? Yes will it have its problems probably, but that's life enjoy what you have and pick what you buy wisely. After all we have the power to choose what a company will and wont get away with

I just want the Slide's guts in the Cliq's shell. The Cliq is very solid feeling.

For my experience, the Slide (a $430 handset) vs the Behold II (a $450 handset). The Slide is an absolute winner. The construction of it is a lot better than my old sidekick ($300). I prefer the feel of it to a behold II, droid, cliq, moment, g1, and the backflip. I even like the feel of it better than my phone, the myTouch Fender. The slide doesn't have any of the issues some people are talking about, so either must be lucky or just don't mind them.

To each their own, and it is nice to have options and I am glad the slide came out. :)

thank you plainbrad, for stating common sense.

I'm tired of people looking at this phone for flaws that aren't really flaws.

Everything thing from "dust in your screen" to "its not the fastest phone around"

Its like seriously?!?!

maybe you should go back to your old cellphones before android or iphones.

I maybe people should get screen protectors so "dust wont go in" and maybe people should wait till they can afford the fastest phone on the market.

Its a good phone and I love it!

I agree and I have a HARD time believing people can actually "hear" the phone creaking. Give me a break. I think some people just look for things to be wrong. You don't like your phone? Bring the darn thing back and be done with it. The rest of us are going to appreciate this phone for what it is - a solid nice looking piece of technology that runs more than fast enough. Some people will simply never be satisfied.

Nix that. The phone itself is very solid feeling its the battery cover at fault.
