Hey,

freshly rooted, attempted an overclock with GOT openrecovery... went to reboot, and whammo - stuck on M.

and the NUB I am, I saved the nandroid ROM I wanted to load into the wrong directory, so can't load that, and didn't to a nandroid backup before fcuking w/ the phone (yay me). Nubstyles.

I've tried wiping, erasing cache, and flashing the default 2.01... nothing will escape the boot screen M freeze.

HELP!

thanks guys,

To clarify: You can boot into the boot loader (but flashing a new rom again using RSD does nothing). You can not get into the recovery?

If you can get into the recovery: change the overclock settings back to none.
You could also pull and push it to the right place via ADB if you have access to the recovery still.

If you can access your SD card from another method (such as a card reader using a micro-regular SD card case) you could move the nandroid backup to the right place.
You could also pull and push it to the right place via ADB if you have access to the recovery still.

Hey Eggos, thanks for the awesome advice!!

Coincidentally, I took your first piece of advice and it worked (accessing bootloader and removing the overclock). I had tried this previously, but for some reason only worked the second time around.

Great minds think alike - my PLAN B was the SD card file transfer to properly nandroid backup.

Everything's sorted, and I was able to flash the 'telus lite' ROM I was after. (PS, it rocks - you guys should check it out).

thanks again,
