So I just loaded this ROM coming from BBv4 using Chevy's 1.2 ULV kernal. Unfortunatly, just like v4 of this ROM I experience alot of slowdown/lag when manuvering around menu's and the like. BB v4 was running nice and smooth. I am going to give my phone a couple days to adjust and see if it gets better. I'm also running the X theme version as well.

I am running the previous version of jrummy's ROM and love it. I tried to install the NexTheme version of this one last week and ran into the same problem another user mentioned where the Google setup app would force close and leave me with a black screen and the notification bar. I tried wiping and reinstalling three times with no success so went back to the 4.0.7 build.

Since I haven't seen anyone else post about this problem since last week, I tried to reinstall again today using the NexTANG theme. Same result: force close of Google setup app leaves me with nothing but a black screen. A reboot at that point leaves me with a never-ending bootup animation that requires a battery pull.

I'm back to 4.0.7 again. Has no one else run into this issue? I'd love to upgrade, but perhaps it's time to give BB another shot...

I love the rom, but every now and then when I take pics, they don't seem to make it onto my sd card. The little gallery preview box in the corner will be all black and there is no pic saved. I can reboot, then it works... for awhile. Then the same thing happens. Anybody else get this? Any way to fix it?

I've had this happen a couple times, also the camera quality isn't as sharp when the pictures are taken compared to the stock 2.1

Anyone else having problems with their internet/gmail connections? Lately my internet connection has been kind of flaky. Yesterday I had no internet for about 5 hours, then it came back but it was at 1x, not 3g. Today it's back to 3g, but the gmail syncing isn't working. I get new emails, but when I respond they don't send and when I delete a message it deletes it on my phone, but when I go to the computer and get on gmail it's still there and is unread as if I never opened it.

I'm using 5.0.9 with DX theme. I am trying to download LauncherPro Beta, and when I click on it, it says "Cancel Download". I click that since it's obviously not downloading...When I do, it FC on me. I've rebooted twice and same thing. What do I do?

Instead of going to the app in the market and then clicking the cancel download button, go to "My Downloads" and then long-press on the app. You should get a pop-up screen with a cancel download option and maybe a couple other options (dont remember what). Cancelling the download this way will not cause the market app to FC. I've had a couple apps cause this issue, which I believe to be a problem with the market app in 2.2.

I don't know about a 6.0.11 version but I worry we may loose jrummy to DroidX now that it has been rooted.

JRummy released version 6.0.11 (I got a notification about it on Twitter) and he asked for testers. No themes yet, just stock. I gave it a whirl and the first thing I noticed is reboot/recovery options built in when you press the power button.

Any other changes noticed?

Does anyone else NOT have the ability to use the Android Wifi Hotspot function in settings on 5.0.9? I keep getting "Error", Granted I can just use Wifi Tether for ROOT from the market, but if I can get rid of an app for it, I will lol.. USB tether connects but I get "No Network Access" on my PC.. I am just unsure if it's something I'm doing wrong, or something JRummy is working on in a future release.

I didn't play around with it long enough to find any more changes/additions. My phone went into a boot-looping frenzy (related to a kernel I was trying out at the same time, not the ROM) and I went to my 5.0.9 backup. I haven't had the time to try out this newest version since.

Review:
This is pretty much what you would expect from jrummy. But if you haven't run one of his Roms I will go ahead and tell you some of the features and some info on things that i saw that were good or bad. One of the nicer things i saw in here was the kangerade scripts app. Very Handy. It lets you delete system apks, install fonts, LWPS, and extra apps that are download-able through ROM manager premium. Another nice thing about that I noticed was all the themes you have to choose from. I believe there are 7 official themes, but there are more that people themselves have made and posted in random places. A couple of these include The DroidX theme, Nextheme, a cyan theme, a green theme, blue, pink, red, and a theme called NexTang that is pretty nice. There is also a black bar mod for the droid x theme that is download-able. This ROM is pretty smooth but there are little hang ups here and there every-so often. I experienced freezes here and there, keyboard not responding, things of that nature, nothing big though. The stock kernals work well with it, but I found that the kernals that worked the best were chevyno1's and jdflg's LV1ghz. Higher and lower speeds work well with it too. I had some pretty good scores with this ROM. The first go around i got 1480, but the second test i got 1525. Not the highest I've seen or gotten but their still good scores. I rate it a 4 because of the minor hick-ups that i saw while using it, but overall i would it's a pretty well built rom.

Do you have a link to the download for Kangerade 6.0.11. I actualy like the themeless versions

Found a deal killer in Kangerade 6.0.11. My ring tones were deleted. Both the Droid Invasion ring tone and the Droid notification tone. In 5.0.9 jrummy
16 delted my walpaper.

Can anyone help me to back up these files and re-install them after I go to 6.0.11?

I'm assuming you're referring to the "Droid" sound we hear on all the commercials as well (the one I believe that was set as the notification sound out of the box). There's an app called Zedge where you can get all kinds of sounds. I just checked mine and the "Droid" sound is in there (search through a few first as some seem to cut off a little early). But I didn't find the Droid Invasion ringtone you're looking for.
