Just to be clear about the zip file I shared, you have to unzip it to use it.

There is a zip file inside it that has the icon files for the battery update I did in it. That is useless to put on your phone as is. That is ONLY for use in modifying your theme by hand yourself, do not try to install the battery.zip file on your phone, it won't do anything.

The modified WM'd theme in that zip file has my changed battery icons in it. I did NOT alter any keyboard settings in that theme.

Still can't get the UBRocked's Blueberry keyboard to install. Changed the .zip file that downloaded to an .apk, then loaded onto my sdcard. When I try to use Astro to install it, it won't even open it in app manager. I installed another app installer from the market, and it says there is a parsing error.

The file that is downloading from here shows up as HTC_IME_Liquid_Black-Blue.apk.zip and is 4.5 MB. The mediafire page says its only supposed to be 4.33 MB.

Do you have show file extensions turned on in Windows? It sounds like you don't. When you view the file in Windows does it say, "HTC_IMC_Liquid_Black-Blue.apk.zip" or does it say, "HTC_IMC_Liquid_Black-Blue.apk"?

If you do not see the .zip in Windows, that is your problem. You need to turn on show file extensions so you can rename it properly. Or rename it once you copy it to your SDCard with Astro.

I'm changing my post above to clarify, as well -- just in case someone reads mine and not yours.

Just so everyone is clear, the HTC_IME Keyboards I posted are NOT zipped. You will download an ".apk" file...no renaming or modifying is needed...just place on your sdcard and install.

Please describe step-by-step what you did to install the Tangerine theme. The themed launcher is an apk file included in the ROM, so you do not need to have it installed prior to installing the theme. The problem you're having isn't typical, so we need more details in order to troubleshoot it.

I rooted using easy root, then installed the rom manager and loaded up LFY 1.4. After that I downloaded and transferred the orange theme and transferred it to my memory card and attempted to install it using recovery mode in the rom manager. When it rebooted it went into a constant loop of reboots. Nothing that I tired would stop it from rebooting. I used rsdlite to get back to stock and presently I'm re-rooted, but have not attempted anything further than that.

Sounds like a similar issue to what I've been having

It certainly looks as if you're having a similar issue and I'm not sure what went wrong for you. I hope you won't let this mishap turn you off to all of the beautiful themes available. One question for JezterVA -- when you went into the boot loop, did you try pulling your battery and booting back into recovery before resorting to RSDLite?

If you do try another theme, please make sure to do a backup first!

I am new to the rooting/rom-ing of my phone, but since I applied the LFY base + 1.2 Slayher I've been extremely happy!

Has anyone tried to install this DSP mod? Android DSP page

I tried to apply it and after applying it wouldn't boot past the motorola picture. Thankfully I could boot to the ROM manager to restore from backup. Cygenomod has it in their current FROYO ROM - and the DSP update only touches 1 system file - so I would think it should work for LFY as well, but since I'm new to this I thought I'd ask the experts.
I couldn't get the newest one to work but v14 works, dont have a cpu or I would upload it pm me and I'll email it to you

Yes, I did and yes I will. :)

I was a little nervous there for a bit when the RSDlite procedures failed on me the first time.

Stock ROM DOES NOT Include Facebook, LauncherPro, Pandora, Maps & Twitter
(These Can Be Downloaded Using Market! Themes STILL CONTAIN the Apps Above!)

Do I need to download and install Facebook, LauncherPro, Pandora, Maps & Twitter before I can load up the skin? It seems like I could see something going on with LauncherPro in the background during my reboot frenzy. I have reloaded the ROM. It really is amazing how much speedier my phone is. I think I'll go ahead and DL the apps above and try the skin again. I really like the looks of that Orange.

No, you don't need to download those apps, and in fact you probably shouldn't. They are included in /system/app of the themes and having them already in /data/app could possibly cause conflicts.

I'm still very new to rooting and flashing ROMS - I've been careful about the whole process and decided to work with LFY, and I was successful in flashing this ROM. Then, I went for the Smoked theme - and flashed with Clockwork, then rebooted. Once I slide to unlock, I get a popup window that says has the ! triangle icon, with OFF in the header. The text says "Complete action using" and there are two buttons -- one reads "The process %1$s has stopped" and another that says "Sorry!" Regardless of which one you press, this same window pops up. I try to boot into recovery to restore, but it never does...all I can do at this point is recover via a complete factory reset via RSDLite.

Any ideas of what is causing this error? The ROM by itself worked great, I guess I'll just stick to that until I get the courage/patience to tinker again.

Liquid, great work - I'm sure it's some noob mistake I'm making!

Let me first say that flashing an .sbf file via RSDLite is a LAST RESORT. I don't think either one of you were to that point. If you have the ability to boot into SPRecovery or Clockwork recovery...RSDLite IS NOT NEEDED. (RSDLite is only needed when you do not have a working ROM on your phone AND you do not have a working recovery...I have never needed to use it and I have flashed hundreds of ROMs).

Now, as to your problems...I see both of you are using ROM manager. When you select the theme to download are you selecting "Wipe Data and Cache"?

You SHOULD NOT wipe data and cache when loading the 1.4.1 patch or any of the themes. These files are NOT complete ROMs.

I'm on a Mac. For some reason, it is downloading as HTC_IMC_Liquid_Black-Blue.apk.zip. Any other files I've downloaded from mediafire (LFY, Watermark'd theme, kernel, keyboards) worked just fine. Not sure why this one file won't work. Like I said before, the file is also showing up on my computer as being larger than the download says it should be.
I'm worried its an issue with my Mac. No idea what would cause it to do that though. Weird.

Open the zip file as a zip archive and see it HTC_IME_Liquid_Blad-Blue.apk is inside it. If so, just extract the zip file and install the apk. If it's just folders, then close the zip archive and delele ".zip" from the end, then install the apk file.

I have a MAC as well. I found it's better to just download the ROM from the brower on your phone.
