Man do I regret getting rid of all mine..Im going to have to start browsing craigslist for them. Some people might pride themselves over collecting sports cards and putting them on display. I think nothing is a better or expressive conversation piece than in your living room than have a collection of vintage working gaming consoles. Im only left with my 360 :( ..I used to have a Nes,Sega/cd/32x + the gun, virtual boy (lol),N64,Gamecube,Wii,non color GB,Game gear, psp, psx which I miss the most mainly playing FF7/Xenogears/Metal Gear1/RE1
They raised me lol

I will have you all again soon

If you still have your old consoles show me your setup and make me depressed for selling my old stuff lol

BTW I started gaming with a NES im 26 now and Im not going to lie about owning every single console ever made. Ive never touched or owned a Atari, Jaguar, Dreamcast, Colecovision, Super NES ect..be truthfull guys.

Nostalgia thread GO :D

You never owned a SNES, but you had a Virtual Boy?! Blasphemy! ;)

Seriously though, you've had some sweeeeet machines over the years! I don't have many left, but often find myself yearning for a good session with a NES with original rectangular controllers!

I know wtf was I thinking..virtual boy lol. I think I got sucked into the sonic fad with the sega and never made it back.

Hard mod or soft? I heard you can trick the system into playing copyied games by putting in a legit game and flipping open the top after the song logo.

It's more than likely true b/c I did the same exact thing w/ my Dreamcast. I don't have any of my vintage systems hidden anywhere but I did have Nintendo, 2 SNES, GameGear, 2 Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, 2 PSX, PS2 then the original Xbox.

A good friend of mine says he has a working game gear with sonic 2 and a N64 with goldeneye hed give to me. Ive gotta starting drawing up plans for a old console shrine lol

I've had an Odyssey, Atari 2600, Intellivision, Coleco, NES, Sega Master System, Genesis, Super Nintendo, TurboGrafx-16, 3DO, Dreamcast, Playstation, Xbox, Gamecube, Playstation 2, Wii, Playstation 3 and an Xbox 360.

Handhelds: Sega Game Gear, Nintendo Gameboy, Nintendo DS and a PSP.

Never had the Saturn, N64, Sega CD or the Jaguar.
Your not missing much with a sega cd, but I still want one again. I had a make your own music video game for it by Kriss kross lololol, a 50 cent game called sewer shark, and a old school version of "Bully" known as Willy Beamish.

N64 thou...how dare you..

I've never really been one for consoles (prefer things you can do more on) but I own the following...

Computers: ZX81 (with the touchpad keyboard), ZX Spectrum 48K (with the deadflesh keys), ZX Spectrum +3, Amiga 500+, Amiga 1200

Consoles: Sega Megadrive, Sega Saturn, Original PS, PS2, PS3, Gamecube, Wii

Handhelds: Original Gameboy, Nintendo DS, Sega Gamegear, Atari Lynx, PSP

Most of them, with the exception of the PS3, PSP, DS and Wii are in storage at the moment because the wife wasn't too happy about piles of old PCs, consoles and games everywhere so I unfortunately had to take them to our storage unit we rent.

The binatone game brings back memories of something my dad borrowed when I was a kid. Black and white sticks batting a block around kept me amused for ages as it was almost state of the art and good back in the day LOL.

I still got my commodore 64 stashed away in the attic. I break it out on occasions every now & then.

It's funny because my son schools me on the PS3 but he can't touch me when it comes to my arena.

Did you ever see this?

The Return of the Commodore 64

I had a C64 with 3 1541 drives, an Okidata color printer and the Commodore color monitor. Oh, and about 400 or so games. I managed to get a C128 for free not long after I got the C64.

Dang I miss that computer!

My 1st computer was a TI-99/4A. Talk about memories....

As far as console stuff, I userd to have a Genesis. I still have my XBox (modded, have ROMs for all of the Nintendo platforms, Sega and Atari), and my PS2. I have a PS3 (mine) and a Wii for the kids.

I guess thats not a bad option..modding a old xbox. I know you can do it on the 360s but it has to be on the older style dashboard.

It's actually soft modded. There is an adapter that you plug into the port on the back (There are many of these, but mine is called DragonHacker) that allows you to perform a disc swap... I did, however, hard mod my friends psx, and I hard modded my OG Xbox (Which I forgot to mention that I still have also). Hard mod is def the way to go if you know how to do it.

What are you talking about? With the DC, you could just put a burnt game in and play... There was no need to swap or anything (Provided the image you burnt was bootable).

Another one I forgot to mention that I still have is the Sega Saturn (Also modded lol).

My days of modding, however, are over. Being a developer myself now, I understand the sweat and tears (That is not an exaggeration btw) that goes into the development of applications and video games... I strongly feel that these developers should be rewarded and thus I ALWAYS pay for software and video games name... Even stuff like Alcohol 120% etc...
