I see. Would you be able "reformat" the phone and load Myn's Rom. I know with my blackberry I was able to perform a low level wipe and then reinstall the OS. Is this possible with the Evo?

Sorry for all the questions. Just want to make sure we get clean install of the ROM while preserving all of her settings and apps.
Did you wipe data when you flashed the rom the first time?
I wiped the cache partition and dalvik cache using Clockworkmod before the Rom install.
The problem is that my gf phone would randomly lockup and reboot after the Rom was installed. So I restored her phone to the state it was in prior to the ROM using nandroid. But her phone continued to lockup and freeze. So I want to do a clean install of the ROM again and give it a try. I think maybe her long term use of task killers may be causing her problems. I had her uninstall them prior to the ROM install.
Well, it would make sense that you would have issues if you didn't wipe data. You should always wipe data before switching roms, unless you're upgrading a rom. And even then, it's recommended a lot of the time.
As far as it still freezing, have you tried wiping cache/dalvik since the restore? Try that, first, and see if it helps. If not, your best bet is to backup all apps with titanium backup, wipe all data/cache/dalvik, then flash a rom of your choice with a clean slate. From there, restore only the apps you need, and set your settings manually again. It may take some extra time, but it's probably worth it.
Thanks!! I'll give it a shot. Any need to move data from the SD to a pc and reformatting the card?
What setting do you have on your evo to optimize the battery to last that long? I have myn 2.2 RLS 4. I have SetCPU.been using Myn's since the beginning with RLS1 and I'm impressed more and more with each release. He really does listen to what ppl want and asks our input on features he plans to implement. RLS4 is fast and smooth and the stock HTC kernel has surpassed my expectations after calibration. Right now I'm sitting on 20hrs with just the first charge after flashing the ROM.
Ok, so I reinstalled Myn's ROM to my gf phone last night. I cleared data/cache/dalvik. Then we reinstalled a few apps via Titanium. The rest of the apps we manually downloaded and installed from Market. The phone seemed to work pretty well but for some reason when she opens her internet browser it just closes after few seconds. I even tried to flash the RLS3 browser from Myn's page but the same problem occurs. Any ideas?
By chance did you beta test Myn's beta rls4 and then flashed the final rls4 right over the beta? When Myn finally released 4, he mentioned it was ok to flash over the beta. So I did, and ever since then, my phone has been a brick. Random reboots, bootloops, freezing. As you've seen my other thread, no matter what ROM I flash whether it be customr or stock, the problems are still there. I'm convinced the phone is a lemon now so I'm sending mine in for repairs at BEst Buy. I'm done trying to resolve it (after weeks). Good luck man.
Anyone else have any issues with the browser just randomly closing while using this ROM?
I'm having problems installing some apps.
Angry Birds, Angry Birds Holiday Pack, NeoCore FPS test...
Other apps install without problems. Only started when I used Myns.
Thoughts?
