I think we can all agree on one thing: Sprint had a rather quiet outing at CES this past week. They showed off their newly-launched HTC EVO Shift 4G, but had nothing else mouthwatering to provide. That’s because they were saving all their REAL marbles for February 7th where they’ll be announcing something – and [...]

i tried posting this over there and it refuses to take my post.

Anyway, me thinks it's the wimax version of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. They just lowered the price on the current model so it would make sense a different variant is coming.

TS

I find it hard to believe they are throwing a huge event with david blaine and saying they made "impossible possible" just for a wimax version of a tab thats 4 months old and outdated already. They are just lowering the price of the tab now because everyone else already has.

I was listening to Buzz Out Loud and they speculated that Blaine would make Palm disappear for good.

A 3D phone would suck IMO. I can't imagine why anyone would want 3D on their phone at this point. Are you really going to carry around glasses with you so you can watch something in 3D in your downtime?

A WebOS tablet would be a killer release though IMO. I really think WebOS has what it takes to really compete in the tablet space.

It's called a lenticular display and it doesn't require glasses.

With stereoscopic front-facing lenses and the right video chat - you know what can go interactive for Android.

Oh, and if it does - don't call me.

They are skipping straight to 6G. More Gs are better.

I hope it's something along the "one plan, multiple devices" so I can have a tab, an evo, and an overdrive share one plan and all have data.

My dad always told me that more Ds are better. I don't recall him saying anything about the Gs.

A unified data plan would kick ass. One plan to unite them all.
