Sprint to aquire Tmo? (No, ATT did)

This would make the most sense, but in reality I somehow doubt it will go that way since Deutches Telekom gets an 8% stake in AT&T with this deal as well. Maybe it will become AT&T-Mobile.;)

this is interesting... i kinda dig it... :)

AT&T&T-Mobile :D

this is just LOLLLLLLL! funny as ish... :D

AT&T-Mobile: Here Are The Biggest Winners And Losers

I don't necessarily agree.

Sprint is the loser in that they will be the smallest player, but that's just perception. OTH, If things remain the same, Sprint could win big time when all those tmo users abandon at&t after the acquisition's complete and they find themselves paying at&t prices. Almost all the Tmo users I know are with Tmo because they want a GSM device but don't want at&t at any cost. My biggest fear is that Verizon will now be allowed to buy Sprint and we all end up paying 50% more for 50% less. The other big loser are Tmo employees! All at&t really needs out of this is the frequencies, towers, band width and users. I'm betting that when all is said and done, little of tmo sales or support will remain no matter what at&t says right now. Another thing is the tmo younger version Katherine Zeta Jones look alike chick is out of a gig.

AT&T - T-Mobile merger just makes me feel a bit uncertain about the future of mobile broadband. T-Mobile provided downward pressure on prices. Now? I just don't see how this merger benefits anyone but AT&T and its shareholders.

Can Sprint continue to offer unlimited data and still remain viable? Is unlimited data compelling enough to convince people to sign up with Sprint even if (when) their rates go up? Will Verizon retaliate and offer Sprint shareholders a buyout? So many questions but I just don't see how consumers will win with only 3 carriers. I'll be watching this closely...

I'm wondering if T Mobile customers will be given an option to get out of their contract once this deal is finalized.
In other (more pertinent) news....Verizon says they aren't interested in Sprint but who is? Or rather who might Sprint be interested in? The answer...according to this article Cricket might be an option. UGH!!
There is a chance that Sprint might join forces with a regional wireless player. Leap Wireless, which owns the Cricket brand, is expanding its network in an attempt to become a national carrier. Leap also uses CDMA and could be a good merger candidate for Sprint. What's more, Leap is also building an LTE network, which could give Sprint its LTE future.

Of course they are crying about this. They will get swallowed whole if this deal is allowed to go through. No way they can compete with that big of a dominated market. Fact is the AT&T merger is a terrible deal for everyone in the country. Everyone... regardless of your carrier.
