Samsung Galaxy S2 to Verizon in May with LTE

I would not fully believe everything on there just yet. It does look a little suspicious at the moment so no word on if it is real or not. We will know if it is true if by April 7 and April 14 will the Charge or sony ericsson xperia play come out. If they do not then this is fake. So I would say take it with a grain of salt at this point. Till we get full word this is true by the stealth coming out or some type of leak that it is coming out this day then we will know the truth about everything else on the list.

Someone posted on another thread that they were in a Verizon store when the Samsung rep came in with both phones. He got to use both and the rep said the S2 wouldn't be out on verizon until late summer/early fall. Who knows if his story is for real or not. The Charge price was leaked at $300 so the S2 would have to be $400 if it came out that soon after the Charge.

specswise, Samsung phones are right up there.....the GS2 will rock, and plenty of people will buy it, regardless of pricing...

and they're pretty open, although Fascinate development is a little slow, but nonetheless...it's getting dev'd on...

The Droid Charge should see regular updates since it is a Droid phone, and as long as you can remove the bloatware, I'm happy with Sammies...the Super Amoled Plus screen even at 800x480 will be brilliant

Yeah i have no doubt the droid charge will be supported well by verizon and samsung.

Even a low end phone like the Droid eris still has great development

Ive been waiting for the Bionic to come out since CES and Im hearing more and more news (rumors) of delays and even the phone not coming out at all. Why are carriers holding back on releasing dual core phones? The only dual-core phone currently out is the Moto Atrix on ATT, great phone on a garbage network! Single core phones are history and I wont waste my money on one. The Galaxy S2 is next on my radar but I havnt seen any hard evidence that this phone is dropping on Verizon let alone LTE. Even Samsung website has NO indication of LTE support. Where are you guys getting this info that the Galaxy S2 is coming to VZW??
