MP3 as alarm - function gone!

Hi All,

When I used to go into the alarm to set a specific sound it used to give me the option to browse for mp3s, or select from the HTC list of sounds.

Now, it goes straight to the list of default HTC sounds and there is no option to go to my music collection.

In fact, exactly the same thing has happened on my ring tones - I can get round that one though by going into the music player and setting it from there, but there is no such option for alarms.

The HTC website says you have to set up a folder with mps3 in to allow the alarm to pick them up - but I never used to have to do that.

The option box that used to allow me to pick an mp3s smacked of an 'add on' option because when it asked if you wanted to pick from the HTC list of tones or mp3s it would give you the opportunity of setting your selection as a default. I didn't actually do this, but it was this that made me think it wasn't a standard android screen.

Any ideas how I can get that option back?

Thanks in advance :)
