Root Darky's rom - wait for 10.0 or upgrade now?

Hola,
I'm just about to buy a Galaxy S, and I'm eager to install Darky's mod on it right away. But here is my dilemma:
- should I wait for the upcoming release of 2.3 and a stabile Darky version on it (few weeks)
- or the wait is not worth it, and the upgrade later on will be easy (like it allegedly was from 9.3 to 9.5, just copying a zip file and loading it in recovery mode).

if you ask me, just go for it and buy it as soon as you want. That's only my opinion though, cuz leaked version of any firmware comes out before the official one (at least it's been like this for SGS), so you don't have anything really to lose. well other than the fact that the leaked version might have a few bugs but I'd still pick that over the official.

im on darkys 9.5 but am gonna wait they still seem to have problems with camera on gingerbread roms which darky might sort out

Im using darky's v10 rc3 and have no problem at all

also with steel blue v4 and damian gto GINGER kernel BETA 5 :d

Well gingerbread is over hyped now.
I did run it and had very good rom and a tweaked kernel, but I did not feel it was right.
Now I just did flash Simone rom and my latest beta kernel and the speed different in the GUI is big. It will take time before gingerbread will be better then a polished rom and a tweaked kernel.
