Still my favorite YouTube - ‪3D Waltz of the Flowers (YouTube 3D HD Test)‬&rlm;

I find that shows things in front of and behind the glass.

Also find easier viewing in a darkened room.

1tompo1 cutting thru YouTube sorry didn't put a link, but if you find the sweet spot on this video you would swear the saw is going to cut your nose, kinda of drags in the start but trust me its worth the wait. I generally don't like the come out at you effect but this one is pretty good.

Am I doing something wrong? I watch these videos through the YouTube app and I don't see a 3D effect. The picture is clear off angle, too, so I'm assuming that it is a flattened picture anyways. I especially figured that the videos shot on with the phone would have the same sort of 3D effect that I have created on my own, but nothing.

FYI -- 3D videos in the YouTube app on a non-3D compliant device will display as two side-by-side images.

If you actually go to the YouTube page, it shows the full 3d, instead of side by side.

Hi Everyone,

I have the EVO 3D and love this thing (came from using a samsung moment :eek:

). So fast and the 3D is great IMO.

I was wondering if anyone has some tips for finding **good** 3D content on youtube. If I search on 'EVO 3D' I get a couple hits but mostly videos with reviews or hands on. If I search for '3D move trailer' I get some better content but a lot is designed for those silly red/blue glasses. I am sure there is a good way to find the 3D stuff but I just don't know what it is :thinking:

On another note if anyone knows of some good sites outside of youtube for 3D content it would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forums!

I've moved your post over here, please check out the suggestions on this page.

If you go to one of the 3D YouTubes shown here, start it playing on this page on your phone, then tap the vid while playing. You'll be given the option to view using Internet or YouTube. Choose YouTube app, then turn your phone to the left (landscape mode).

After viewing, hold phone upright and move to Related Videos tab - you'll find lots of interesting 3D content linked together that way - look for the 3D marker to the right of the title in that list to find the 3D content.

I have to agree. I downloaded the movie and it looks amazing on the E3D.

Some of the forest scenes are the best.

on youtube just put "yt3d" as your search then sort from there, alltime today ect.

If some of you don't already know, type in YT3D on YouTube and you'll get a lot more 3D content that you do if you just searched for "3D". It's Youtube's 3D content page.

There's this CGI movie called "Pangea" that's both funny and visually stunning. It's one of the first videos once you do that YT3D search, and I wish it was available for download. There's also a good number of other videos worth watching there too. I easily spent a good 3.5 hours watching a lot of 3D movies that I hadn't seen previously. Some of them are pretty lengthy and well worth the effort.
