If you renewed your contract on launch day, you should be eligible for an upgrade in mid-March. I know, it's still a long way away, but it's less than a year.

Indeed it does suck. I just hope cm7 gets fixed up and/or another ROM wows us. If not, will stick with Apex and Liberty and wait it out until I get a new phone.

I agree. Liberty .9 is doing OK for me right now. CM7 is just not cutting it for me at the moment. I am looking forward to a new phone soon...just not sure what yet, but it will be with VZW.

As much as it pains me to think about leaving my DX and or leaving Verizon ive been thinking about it alot lately with the no more unlimited data scares even though ill be grandfathered in to unlimited data wouldn't put it past Verizon to throttle me down to snail speed just to get me to go to teired plan the been thinking of going with the TB or going to sprint and getting an evo and getting all the roms my cousin has and has been developing and maybe helping finish the ones he been working on till he went to the evo 3d he was getting 2 and a half days out of his battery with moderate to heavy use

Unfortunately, we canned Sprint and switched to VZW on July 15th. So, its a whole year for me. I dont really have any issues with VZW other than the phone being locked. I have stellar service where Sprint wasnt able to make a phone work at my house.
