UK Keyboard (at last)

After waiting patiently for the UK keyboard to show up as a peripheral in the UK, Amazon finally stocked them earlier this week. Its being delivered today, and I'm hoping its as good (and useful) as I think it will be.

I was really tempted to get one from the US or Taiwan six weeks ago ... I'm glad I waited.

Question: Can it charge by itself (from the wall), whilst I'm elsewhere with just the tablet?

Question: What kind of usage (in hours) can I realistically expect? What are you guys seeing?

cheers

Pete :D

No additional cables or charger in the box ...

I'm not bothered however, its fantastic. What a quality piece of kit! It's reassuringly solid, the "clasp" caught me out immediately. Its really quite stiff without the tablet, and I was actually worried there was a catch I was missing.

Very happy, and yet I still have to discover all its little shortcuts and tricks.

i'll second to the keyboard, it what makes the transformer amazing. granted you wont use the kayboard ALL the time, but the versatility it offers allows you to use it e.g. for work. no virtual keyboard or swype mechanism will replace the hard keys when typing up long emails or constructing documentation.

add the long battery life, it makes my long haul flights abroad possible in 1 charge.

also the 2 full usb ports allows me to store stuff to my poratble HD or usb key at any point.
