Just got my phone 1 hour ago NEED HELP!

Just got my phone today...
turned it on and everything was working fine...
then went to activate my sim card and the bottom of the touch screen isnt working?

It was when I turned my phone on, I never changed any settings or anything.

Its weird, because the rest of the touch screen works, just not the bit above the buttons on the phone :S

Please help

Try removing the battery again and see if that reboots it and sorts out the issue.

Thanks for the reply, but I've tried that.
Left the battery out for a while..
turned it on about 10 minutes ago and its still not working...

You could try running a software repair using PC Companion or Sony Ericsson Update Service which will wipe you phone back to factory settings and hopefully resolve any software glitch.

If this doesn't work then I would suggest returning it to you retailer/carrier for a replacement.

How do I run the repair through pc companion?

It says my phone is up to date and whatever... Im not really good with computers.

It should give you an option to repair under the support section or you can use SEUS Aino? - Update Service - Downloads - Mobile phones - Support - Sony Ericsson ignore the fact that it says Aino, you select your phone when you start running the programme. The onscreen instructions are fairly self explanatory but shout if you need anymore help.
