I remember a Nov. 3rd or possibly Nov. 17th rumored release date mentioned, I'm going with one of those!
I believe Verizon will want to have a release date within a window of two to three weeks of the Apple iPhone release date as to encourage those consumers who are on the fence to wait and buy the Nexus. I also believe that Apple is having issues with the iPhone 5 and will announce two phones the upgraded iPhone 4 Plus or what ever they call it and the iPhone 5. The first will be available sooner than the other. This gives Samsung and Verizon the opportunity they have been looking for.
If Samsung announces the Prime on Oct. 11th at CTI then I believe that gives a one month period for the phone to be released for Verizon within that rumored time frame.
WT...??? Is this what happens when there are no new rumors, hack poetry or blurry cam pics? I need the condensed version without all the delirious non sequitur. And I need new rumors, horrible attempts at criptic poetry and any pictures of anything speculating about something that might (or might not) be the greatest phone ever being released (or not) before Halloween/Thanksgiving/Christmas. The spiderman made my eyes hurt.

Yeah, this is what happens in epoch threads. Does anyone remember the world famous Android Forums http://androidforums.com/htc-droid-incredible/42916-official-htc-incredible-thread.html thread. It was so famous that the AF servers couldn't handle the traffic. These threads have special grace, and sometimes go off topic a bit. It's part of the PR.

Ah.....the good old days. That's why I'm skeptical this time.....there's no MEAT to chew on.....and no CK, we don't automatically need a picture of a steak at this juncture ....haha.
But there is nothing to talk about, as there are no any news for some time.. I'm getting bored with no new 'sensation'..
I want some serious, great news - new pics at the first place. Come one, are there anybody at sammy's factorys, who can take just a little photo..? A small, little... pity.. [nm, μm]? Please..
The reason Verizon has been so off base with any Android phone is because of Microsoft. Microsoft is trying to get a big piece of the pie in the cell business again. They have been it a lot longer then anyone else.
And to sum it up, Verizon and Microsoft have been partners from the get go.

You can calm down. The Droid succes is for Verizon much bigger snack, while this is with Google. Microsoft doesn't have anything new to present. You don't have to worry.

Huh? Verizon arguably has the best android library out there and they only have a single, unassuming WP7 phone. There are also no rumors of HTC's new WP7 devices coming to Verizon. I would say AT&T's support of WP7 has been better than Verizon's.
