isnt this price just going to drop a couple of months later after the pre-order? Im just saying it looks like a great item, but im not sure if i want to spend 600 now when i can get it later for 400.00. What do you guys think, do you think it will drop in price soon, or is it going to be 600 for a while?

I'm not sure that prices on these will fall any time soon. Already they are 50 bucks cheaper than the iPad2. That's after Apple's price cut they are currently showing on their site, maybe a "Black Friday" web deal not sure. To me it's competitively priced for what it's offering. If the Prime isn't meant to replace Transformer then I am more inclined to believe these prices will not be dropping anytime soon. I could be wrong, just my take.

Tiger direct and best buy has it.

Accessories and shit you can buy later those won't be sold out. Get your pre-order in worry about accessories later! Just my advice and 2 cents *shrug
Oh, I definitely got a preorder in when they opened on Amazon.

But Newegg has such a legendary reputation for fast shipping of new products, I'd rather have my preorder with them.

Ya I don't normally get extended warranties either.

Heh I have the original transformer right now. I really like it. Just the idea of getting a quad core that's super thin/light with better display is more appealing so I gotta take this one back heh.

If you do the research, extended warranties are generally a BS waste of money.

I did my pre order the day Amazon had them. A few bucks off retail, no tax, free ship.

Wow 64gb + 32GB SD card :) what do you plan on doing with that much space on tablet? heh. I would load it up with pRon :p j/k

The only thing I know about with Tigerdirect is 8 years old at least. I don't know if they still suck or not but good luck with Tigerdirect. I don't know many people who like to order from there.

I like the grey but I don't know of any pictures showing the Champagne gold so i'm not sure if i'd like that more or not *shrug.

Just pulled the trigger on the preorder from tiger direct. 64gb, Grey with matching dock. I do not know much about tigerdirect, but I had to do it...Had to pass on black friday/cyber monday for this thing:)

I want one of these so bad. I had been reading about the Transformer when all of a sudden I started seeing where the Prime was being released. I currenly have an Archos 10.1 but I don't like the screen on it for watching movies and videos. Plus it's a little slow. Older model and now I want this one. I am trying to sell my laptop which I never use and then sell my Archos and get this. I see where there is all these preorders and lots of places are sold out. I think I bought my Archos from Tiger Direct but I may do Newegg cause it says shipping 12/8 which I don't know if that will really happen or not. So this will have market place too right? I shouldn't preorder till I sell my other stuff but this sounds so nice. I want to see both colors next to each other again so I can decide but I'll probably do the grey/silver but the chmapagne looks nice too.

I finally found a picture of the champagne gold color and I actually like it better than the grey. But whatever I like the grey/silver color too.

I so can't wait for this thing. I packed up my original transformer reluctantly to ship it back for a full refund.

I was hoping to get in a pre order from newegg but they aren't taking anymore. Best Buy has it for $546 including TAX and shipping ... Tiger Direct has it for $510 for 2 day shipping ... J&R has it for $510 for normal shipping ( ??? ). I know Best Buy but have never dealt with either Tiger Direct or J&R.

Where should I pre order from? Is it worth it to save $35 by ordering from one of the two that I've never heard of? Anyone dealt with either of these on a consistent basis?
