Wow, was there a deleted post just now? I thanked it, refreshed and it's gone lol.
Is there a need to delete a, seemingly, well thought out opinion (I didn't even get a chance to finish reading it). What kind of forum has this become. SMH.
Are we really waiting for a phone? Has VZW promised us anything and not delivered (with respect to the SGN)? And, to those trying to buy the phone when you know Vzw isn't selling them yet, are a few more days worth risking someone's livelyhood (even if they are compliant)?

I knew the GN wouldn't have Google Wallet ever since a Nexus on Verizon was just a rumor. Whether its illegal or not... sounds like how VZW used to block GPS on its phones.Ok, if this infotainment is correct and it's all about Wallet/ISIS, then it's time we gave a shout out to th0r615 for ringing the dinner bell on this and being right - back on October 14, when this thread was below 9k posts.
And during that week of October, we all puzzled out how this could possibly be the cause of any sort of delays.
So - whatever is going on with Wallet/ISIS, our own fossil record says that none of this is last minute stuff, aside from the recent press sensationalizing it.
Thanks to th0r615, we knew back then what the deal was - we just didn't know that we knew.
How you like those apples?
I saw the post you are referring to as well. I went to quote it and write how it was one of the rapidly increasingly rare intelligent posts in this thread and before I could it was gone. I hope a moderator didn't delete it.
Well said. I have noticed that occasionally I have to F5 for all the comments to show up. A whole lot of data to load. LOL
I am starting to think this thread may become so large it will be given Independent Nation status. Then we can steal a spaceship and begin cruising around the universe. We can pirate cocktail olives and booze from trade vessels.
Yeah. With our Nexii, nothing is unpossible....

Here are the two pic's I snapped earlier when I got to see the Gnex!
Yes the shutter is very quick but the focus can't keep up. So you can take 5 photos in rapid succession but there's a chance you will get 0 sharp shots.I was under the impression that the shutter speed was quick, no?
1941 - John Belushi?

hey OTD, I'm thinking of starting my journey of Burn Notice today. Whats your opinion on the show? Whats its about?
One of the best tv series that is out right now, IMHO. I've yet to see an episode I didn't enjoy.
The whole series is basically about a burned spy name Michale Weston. While he tries to figure out who burned him and get his life back with the CIA he does side jobs helping out random people. There is always someone that needs help and there is always talk about him being burned. It is a great show and has some funny stuff too.
Burn Notice is good. NCIS is also a favorite of mine. Law and Order SVU used to be good until Christopher Meloni aka Detective Stabler left. One of the best tv series that is out right now, IMHO. I've yet to see an episode I didn't enjoy.

I'm going to 5guys today Then I'm going to look at new snowboard boots... if I fall in love and buy a new pair = pass on the Gnex and wait for my VZW contract to expire and change carriers
These are from summer 2010 surely they have changed their packaging and product line, but the one on the left in yellow was the one back then. It killed screens clarity though, but it would not smudge no matter what you did to it with your own body oil!
Although this is moving the price scale a bit.... Daniel Boulud makes an amazing burger and is well worth the splurge:
THE ORIGINAL db BURGER
Sirloin Burger Filled with Braised Short Ribs
Foie Gras and Black Truffle, Served on a Parmesan Bun
Pommes FritesorPommes Souffl
An answer that I want to know is, why is Verizon trying to get into the Payment/Securities industry? Are their systems secure enough? Are there enough failsafe systems in place to protect from any malicious attacks? Google Wallet software may be more secure as all they deal with is software. I'm primarily buying this phone for it's NFC technology(I could always buy another blackberry, but I've had enough of the snail like pace it takes do do anything) and optimally I would like a more secure piece of software over something that may be less secure.
