Hey guys quick question. I do a decent amount of traveling and have been enjoying the use of Trapster along the way. My question is that is it ok to keep my phone plugged into my car charger while I run Trapster. Since you need GPS enabled and especially if I use a traffic app or something, a 3.5 hr ride will hurt my battery, even if I have the 1750. I've been very responsible with this battery and don't want to mess it up.

If I keep it plugged in I will essentially have the same battery as when I left, if not charged more. I just would like to be able to use my phone after the car ride/not have to worry about charging it when I get out of the car.

So better to let the GPS drain the battery? Or is it safe to keep it plugged in?

your fine leaving it plugged in the eris has an overcharge circuit to protect it. plus it has a heat protection circuit which will reset the phone if the phone overheats.
