Whats up guys. Does NJ have 4G LTE coverage? I just switched from the EVO to the Gnex and all ive seen so far in Atlantic County is 3G. This sucks. One of the main reasons i switched and am willing to pay the higher prices is because i was under the impression that id get 4G speeds. Anyone else in NJ get 4G?

i'm on the western side of southern NJ... reasonable 4g in cherry hill and haddonfield, very spotty 4g in moorestown and mount laurel. i called verizon about the slow 4g speeds a while back, they recommended turning on roaming which definitely helped a little bit.

i hear Philly is quite good but haven't tried it there myself.

and there is very strong 4G on rt. 295 at the haddonfield-berlin rd (rt 561) exit in case you wanna pull over and watch a movie or download stuff :)

Strange, because I'm also in Marlton and typically get 30Mbps down, and never less than 20Mbps.

i can get those speeds at rt. 295 and rt 561, no problem. as i get closer to my house, the speeds gradually reduce to 7-10 Mbs. with roaming off, it drops even lower. the Verizon tier 2 tech said they have "partner tower agreements in my neighborhood" and to turn roaming on.

apparently 4g is very geographically dependent. at the moment, based on the coverage map above, it's hopeless for the OP.

How are you liking the 4G service so far?

I live in Northfield and am thinking about going with the Incredible 4G when it comes out. Have the Inc2 and love it though.

TIA,

I'm LOVING it! I live around the corner from Pep Boys and I get 2 bars of 4G inside my home. A speedtest shows I get about 10mbps down with 2 bars and with full 4G bars, I get around 25mbps. There are quite a few 4G towers around here. The closest one to us is behind the Shore Mall on West Jersey Ave. There are about 3 more on Fire Road and one on the AC Expressway at the 75 cent toll. There is also one on top of the water tower in Linwood.

I don't know much about the Incredible but from what i'm hearing, its a great phone. Me personally, I like the bigger phones with the hidef screens.

I have been monitoring the signal ever since I first got it and it seems to be strengthening over time. Like before, I only got 1 bar in my house, now I get two. Whenever you see these towers, take a look at your phone signal to see how strong the signal is and if its in 3G or 4G.

You get 4g in eht? I don't but supposed to be turning on April 16 from what I was told. How do you like gnex?

I'm LOVING my Gnex DESPITE the problems like random reboot once in a while. I just got a Trexcell 3800 mAh extended battery and my battery issues are gone.
