The support page for updates usually appears a day or two before the download goes live. Keep checking every so often but try not to obsess over it.

I have only checked every 45 second for the last hour...who is obsessing?

Since I'm rooted do I need to do anything special when the upgrade comes? I have Voodo OTA Rootkeeper. Do I need to anything with it?

why wait? Just go find the patch and install it. It works great. There's also a small update 6.12.174 that showed up today.

No, but make sure you undo any changes ike frozen apps etc. If you want to keep root, also make sure to use OTA Rootkeeper to save root before updating so you can restore it afterwards.

Anyone updating to the newer .174 leak be aware that it may take you off the upgrade path for future updates. The only way back right now is via fastboot. If you aren't comfortable with fastboot I would not recommend updating to the newest leak.

Question for whoever knows. I currently have the leaked .173 version. I know how to install the previous version. My question though is will I have to install the previous version to than be able to get ice cream sandwich when it eventually becomes available or will i still be in the path with out going back a step?

The leaked 173 is the same as the one that just got announced. You are still on the upgrade path.

174 though... Who knows yet!

I just seen this...dont know if this deserves its own thread or not...but its interesting news.
