I thought about going ahead and forgetting about the known issues and springing for the Prime. Unfortunately, I can't find it in stock anywhere. Anybody know who currently has one in stock?

go to NowInStock.net Product Availability Tracker and In Stock Notification System and sign up for alerts. It'll let you know when a number of retailers have it in stock, but you need to act fast--they tend to sell out almost immediately.

Also check out Sam's Club, which isn't listed by Nowinstock. They've had a couple of shipments come in, and had some last night. They have the 64GB Gray in stock right now. Also note that their 90-day electronics return policy does NOT apply; they limit it to 30 days for tablets and e-readers.

Thanks to the above.

I joined nowinstock.net and have set up alerts. I guess I should have specified that I'm looking for the 32GB model. Can't bring myself to pay up to $100 more for more storage. I'm also going to buy the dock, but have to wait to see which color tablet I get before setting up an alert for that.

BTW...Office Depot was out of stock and Sam's only lists the 64GB model.

Yes, Sam has only listed the 32GB unit when they've actually had it in stock...

I have to thank you again. I think that the above information needs to be written into its own post and sticky'ed. I just got the alert from J&R, placed my order, and the tablet is on the way. Now to wait for a Champagne dock to become available.

My estimate was the 14th but I just checked UPS tracking and it says that I'll get it tomorrow! I'm stoked! Now if that damn Champagne Dock will show up in stock somewhere. I tried to get in on the supposed stock with Gamestop the other day, but I put it into my cart and was in the process of checking out when it said that it was no longer available. Now, I think that it's just plain crappy to allow you to put something in your cart and then to sell it out while you try to pay. Can you imagine if you were walking through Best Buy and someone just grabbed the dock out of your cart? Hmmph! :mad:

I tried bestbuy, office depot, office max, mico center & frys. All out of stock. Gamestop had it in stock, I was able to place a hold in the evening and the next morning they sent me an email saying I could pick it up. Sweet !

It wasn't the closest gamestop to me but it was definitely in driving distance.

I didn't buy it from them, but I went to Office Depot to buy a case for my TP, when I noticed that they had both a 32gb Prime and case. Grey. It was out of stock online and didn't show local stock. Worth a check for anyone who's looking for one.

I bought my champagne tablet 32gb from Gamestop last Monday and got it Thursday. Really like the tablet, nice design, love the color. Personally though I would never just own a tablet though no matter how cool they are.

That's why I the transformer is the only tablet I can buy because of the keyboard dock. I love the tablet but the dock is where it is at. Mine should be here by Tuesday, hoping Monday since it has been at the local Fedex since Saturday morning, but it says expected delivery date of Tuesday.

I don't have the patience to wait for a champagne keyboard dock to be in stock again, so I purchased the US/Chinese dock from ebay, hopefully it wont bother me too much.

Yep, got mine at GameStop as well. Used the tracker to find it in stock. It's usually in stock there because a) they pretty much just sell games/consoles and b) they didn't even have it on display, or any tablet for that matter.
Ordered my keyboard through Amazon, and while I did pay a bit extra, it was worth it. This thing rocks!

hey bro, i just want to know where in bestbuy did you bought your prime in LA?coz i been bugging my mon to buy me one but instead bought me an ipad 2.. i was sooo freaking mad coz i dont like ipad 2.

You should be able to get one on their website. They seem to restock on thursdays. I suggest checking the best buy site about every hour on thursdays if possible. That's how I got mine back in January.

thanks for answering.. my mom told me he already ordered the prime and she is going back to bestbuy to bring back the ipad 2.im so happy!LOL i dont want that crappy tablet. i hope they will have the prime by this week.. i hope bestbuy will acknowledge the trade.
