Well actually, when you go to a restaurant, you need to see all the options on the menu to know what to choose. You dont just go in, sit down and shout "Steak and chips"
After switching bewteen emerald and compiz, i lost my drop down menu's for a while and man did that drive me crazy... however i might consider switching in favor of this haha
I don't care for unity & all these changes, UI-wise, I won't upgrade past 11.04 because I don't want to be stuck with unity, maybe time to switch it up... anyone using mint? Isn't that supposed to be a pretty descent build, that's unity free...

I used to use mint (before i discovered arch linux). It's pretty good. Haven't used it a about a year or so. Believe by default it uses gnome3, though you have choices between lxde, the debain version, and a kde one.
