Help My Razr Won't Let Me Assign A Ringtone

So I used Phonezoo to create a ringtone, an .mp3 file, and texted it to my phone. I downloaded it and it plays fine, but when I press and hold down on it, it doesn't come up with the option to make it a ringtone. The options are
Play
Add to playlist
Shop for artist
Delete
and
Search

Any advice guys? Thanks!
 
What worked for me when moving ringtones from old phone to new...

Download a file manager (such as Astro), create a folder called ringtones on your SD card, then put the file in that folder.

You can also hook your phone up to your computer in mass storage mode and do the same thing on your SD card.

Here's what worked for me.
I use a MP3 Ringtone Maker to assign ringtones to a contact, but this assignment won't 'stick' through a reboot of the phone. However, now you can find the new ringtone in the list with the stock ringtones and assign it through the Contact app like normal. When done this way the ringtone will survive a reboot.
