Help Lg esteem black screen problem

earlier today, i downloaded some songs on my computer and than transferred over the songs on to my phone. Just dragged and dropped in to the music folder. Than later that day i went to check up on the phone but it was off. So i pressed the power button to turn it back on. it got through the LG logo sign than it goes to the black screen of death. The computer didn't even recognize my phone anymore. It says that the USB device is malfunctioning and wont read it.

Please help. This phone is not even rooted. I have to pull out the battery and pluged in the USB and nothing works.

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you .

Nope nothing. just black screen. I know the screen is on because its like gray color. But thats about it.. =[ ive rooted other phones fine. But this phone in new to it. The thing is i didnt even root it. im thinking its because too much music storage in the sd card??

I've installed the driver that is in the lg website to a new computer. it says the same thing. When i plugged my phone to the computer when powered off, the phone turns on which is normal, than the LG logo than to the black screen. The computer later recognizes the phone, but it says its malfunctional. and i cant access the SD card. Cant even boot to recovery.

What is LGNPST? i never used that. sorry i didnt mean to say recovery. But yea. i think ill do that. phones really messed up. and i dont even know how. =[
