Root Who's used Koush's ROM?

That ain't the only thing better by far - there is a lot going on behind the scenes.

Here is a teaser for ya:

Besides, you really cannot argue with the godfather of cooking ROMs for Android devices, can ya?

Just put the "Dock.apk" file on the root of your SD card and then use ADB to install (I think it is removed in this release but I haven't verified).

Code:
adb shell
busybox cp sdcard/Dock.apk /system/app

not sure how to do ADB commands but I tried restoring it from Ti Backup.. it does not work, but I found it is quite a large file, I also found when I added my ringers in the \system\media (using root explorer) I did not have much space left..

I have a bunch of ring tones from Pete's BB build so I will go through and get rid of a bunch and save the ones I want on the phone.. save some more space

I was actually using advanced task killer. I looked under the application settings and it was like 9.5mb free...

Dunno whats going on here. Phone still seems responsive enough though.

I'm showing 14MB Free after killing all applications with Task Manager. Like you said...still seems responsive so maybe it's not reporting propertly?

The Dock.apk is less than 2 MB. To install it, you are probably going to have to push it with ADB. I could email you the file if needed. PM me with an address and I'll send it in a zip file.

I LOVE THIS ROM!! Just flashed the Recovery and the ROM and it is FASTTT! Definitely keeping it for a little while! I used cyanogen on my G1 and now I get to use it on the Droid so I'm lovin' it for now! Woo! :D

EDIT: ONLY thing I notice is slower is the recovery takes forever to perform backups and stuff lol.. I liked spre better but whatever!

Huh - Hey, Fab, check *this* out.

After pushing my apps to the phone, I have added a widget to the main screen (gTasks), set up Touiteur, Set up the Weather part of News and Weather app, and it seems like my available memory has increased:

Could it be that there is a bug that is showing what is used as opposed to what is available?

I don't really know anymore. It seems to vary for me, from going down all the way to 9.5 available up to 34 when I kill my tasks. Either way, the available sum is about the same (one number goes up, the other goes down), and "other" is always around 40-50mb.

I feel if the performance is good, I just won't worry about the numbers going on in the background.

agreed, i was getting bored of roms and the zuesdroid sense rom is taking longer than planned etc etc, so this was the kick in teh butt i needed

Yeah, it seems like everything the community has been begging the devs to include for a long time is in this ROM. It's the little things. The ability to have the screen auto rotate in EVERY direction... a reboot option... dockable bottom...

As anyone who has seen my tons of screenshots already has figured out... I was changing ROMs 3-4 times a day for probably the past 3 weeks. I flashed this ROM last night, and I'm settling into it very nicely. It has too many features I'm just not willing to give up. (Some of them I didn't even know I wanted.)

+1 on everything you just said... Oh and the best part is, the 3D launcher is AWESOME! :)

But is there anyway to turn off the 360 degree rotation? I tried the setting with 180 orientation, that didn't do it. I just don't like it really.. Idk, maybe I'm just not used to it. So is there anyway to turn it off?
