as megamind would say- "ohollo"

my first smartphone was a droid, then a few years went by and i switched to an iphone and recently i switched back to the droid x. i have backup phones and want to get into rooting my phone, but some bad timing seems to have left me in the midst of having 4.5.621 on my droid x so i'm here in search of a solution and to help when/if i can. never hurts to stay abreast of new things happening with our phones either. :p

kind of a long winded hello, but oh well.

Thanks! I don't think there is a current solution for this particular issue- just staying hopeful. I did find a linux solution so I'm currently trying that, but the instructions aren't completely clear so I asked in the root forums if anyone has a link to clear instructions on it.
