Help Can I rollback to 2.3.4 from 2.3.6?

I have 2 S2s. I got mine in March from BB with 2.3.4 installed. I had read about the 2.3.6 wifi battery issue and have stayed on 2.3.4 and experience fine battery life.

I upgraded my wife's Captivate to an S2 a few weeks ago and she had been occasionally complaining about battery life. I finally looked at it this morning after it went from 100% at 10:00 pm to 8% at 6:00 am and saw the OS taking 97% of the battery and looked further to see that hers came with 2.3.6 already on it (duh - didn't even think about it when I got hers).

I've read about unrooting to 2.3.4, but it seems like most have done that after they took the AT&T update from 2.3.4 to 2.3.6. I don't know if wife's phone was originally loaded 2.3.6 or had 2.3.4 and was factory updated to where I can go back to 2.3.4.

If I can't go back to 2.3.4, I think it's going back to BB (I think I'm still within the 30 day return period). She's had it with the terrible battery performance.

Thanks

I was actually just coming back to share my experience.

I did roll back to 2.3.4 and did have the wifi loss problem - so I had to do a factory reset to fox that. Luckily this S2 is only a couple weeks old, so there wasn't that much to re-set back up.

With regards to batter life - it's night and day. Like I said - my wife's phone basically ran through the entire battery in 8 hours overnight off the charger with absolutely no use. I'm a pretty light user, but I regularly go 2 days between charges on 2.3.4.
