most people don't have problems and usually they're fixed with a re-flash. s7 is no longer being developed because at the time, ICS was nowhere close to being released. All that was need to be done was implemented into s7. the developers went on to develop s8, but that is a rom for the galaxy s2.
I've flashed a good amount of roms and in terms of all the rom's i've flashed (including ICS), none has ever come close to the complete package that s7 brings.
