My next phone is going to have an LED screen. Coming from the Inc, I didn't have as much battery life problems as I do now, and I have 4G turned off. I read during lunch and with an LED screen I can use Night mode for minimal power usage. This one, doesn't matter. If it's not, it's sucking power.

That's my biggest gripe about the Rezound, too. I miss the AMOLED screen on my dINC. A decent ROM & kernel, paired with a dark theme - the battery life was Incredible, especially with the extended battery. Which by the way, is my second biggest gripe about the Rezound. The extended battery on the Incredible barely added thickness, compared to the Rezound's extended brick, I mean battery.

Other than those two complaints, I love my Rezound, but those are two very functional aspects.

If you're talking about the battery that fit under the stock battery cover, then you're referring to an unofficial battery. That was intended for the Evo. The one for the Rezound is made by HTC for the Rezound. It seems like a minor technicality, but it's not really fair to hold this against HTC for something it didn't intend on.

BTW- looked at my Retired Inc this weekend and the stock battery cover is broken. Just sitting there, not being used. That tells me the Evo battery put pressure on the cover.

I used the official HTC extended 2150 mAh battery and battery door. Although I thought the extended battery added a good bit of thickness at the time, in comparison to the Rezound, it was insignificant.

Still have my dInc, too, and I'd still be carrying it, if the /data/data partition wasn't so small.
