you'll get it when you get it. I'm in CA, and I don't personally know anybody who has gotten it yet. And aside from myself, I can think of at least 4 people I know who have a razr/maxx.

I always get OTA's in the evening or early morning it seems. Froyo on the OG Droid was first thing in the morning, OTA on Rezound was night, OTA on Maxx was night also. ICS? Who the @#$% knows. Heck, Jellybean might be old by the time we get ICS at this rate!

It would be suggested, I think there were some hints of root not being friendly.
I have read that some people here got it early, and used rootkeeper to remove/backup root, and then got it back easily.

I'll just say it.
Backup root, remove regular root. Receive new OTA, restore.
Works like a charm on an otherwise non-modified device..
