Here's one of a couple Go Launcher themes I use while I'm running the SOS ROM.

Here's the first page of the app drawer. I love that it scrolls horizontal rather than vertical.

I agree, the black backgrounds seem to make everything else stand out more. I like the options that GoLauncher brings to the table, but it seems to make my phone run a hair slower.

Simple, clean. Main apps on dock.

Set long press home to launch a folder/app with my 12 most used apps instead of showing recent apps. Frees up realestate on screen nicely :cool:

Edit- the long press to launch custom app is a cm7 feature, in case that's why you asked
