Swiftkey and Google Chrome

If I search 'Swiftkey Google Chrome autocomplete issue' I get nothing so I thought I'd post here.

Is autocomplete not working on Google Chrome? It certainly does not work for me and it takes me forever to search something on Chrome because Swiftkey does not correct/suggest me things.

Anyone got any idea if this is a known issue?

There's been update yesterday from Swiftkey which says that bug fixes in Chrome have been tackled, but I still can't get autocomplete on Chrome.

Any thoughts anyone?

I think this is normal because chrome uses the address bar for both URL and searches. It makes sense because many website URLs are not words that are typically spelled properly. I've noticed this is the case on iPhone and any other phone browser's address bar. There is no autocorrect so you can type in the URL without frustratingly having to cancel autocorrect and deal with spaces. It can be annoying the other way though if you mostly google through address bar rather than directly go to a site.
