Root 2 little bugs after the "fix everything by turning your phone into an Evo 3d" procedure

I rooted my EVO V and am running Harmonia. I love this rom BTW. Subsequently I did the "fix everything by turning your phone into an Evo 3d" and it litterally did fix every complaint I've ever had about the phone.

Now there are really just 2 buggy happenings:

1-The battery life indicator (which is awesome) seems to stay on whatever % it is on until I reboot, then it updates. For example it said 67% for like 2 hours, then I rebooted and it said 57%. IT's been on 57% for about 3 hours now.

2-When I try to access the usage stats I go to settings>usage and get the error message "unfortunately, settings has stopped". Then it takes me back to the home page.

I can't seem to figure out what the deal is. Any ideas/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

The second issue is a confirmed issue with the latest version of Harmonia. She posted the links to the AP K you need to fix the issue. To fix the first issue I would've a try clearing battery stats from recovery to see if that helps. If that doesn't work I would clear cache and dalvik and reflash the ROM.

As mentioned, it sounds like a bad flash for the first issue. It could also be because of the changes you made. Sometimes you need to re-install after all of the tweaks. It's not a bad idea.

Second is a known issue, you just need to re-install the usage.apk, which is in the first post. Nest update will fix it once, I get the Elite people up and going.

For the Usage.apk it might be obvious but the only way I got it work was moving it into the Sytem>App, and then setting the permissions to the same as the rest of the apps in there and then rebooted. Simply moving it didn't work.

Here are the permissions that I checked off (this picture I found online but is what I have)

Thanks to all for the input. I took your advice; cleared the cache, dalvik, and battery stats. Then did a factory reset and reflashed harmonia. It took care of the meter updating problem.

Also I went back to Leslie's post and found the usage.apk
I moved it to system/app using Root Explorer then rebooted. It didn't work so I tried ninite's suggestion to change permissions and it is running like glass... you know... the smooth kind...

I didn't realize Leslie's comment in the original post was about this problem mostly due to my not being too bright :(. In case there are other not so bright folk out there I'm including the link to the post in question and a link to download the apk file to fix problem 2:

Leslie's Original Post for Harmonia 3.16

Usage.apk

Thanks again Leslie for all the time and effort and a wonderful rom and to all you others who had advice for me.
